Newspaper Obituary for Friedrich Karl Schaeffer

In loving memory of our father, Friedrich Karl Schaeffer, who lost his fight with Parkinson's on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023. He was the devoted husband of Jacquelyn Marie Schaeffer and loving father of Dan Joseph Schaeffer, Lisa Marie Doyle and Tricia Lynn Sullivan. He is also survived by his mother, Lorraine Schaeffer; his sister, Valkrey Toolin; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, in-laws, family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
 
One of the kindest souls on this planet, our father was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage. Early in life, our father learned the importance of hard work and he tried to instill that same work ethic in us. He was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on. He was an energetic and brilliant man who taught us the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our father was a true role model who we will always look up to and who is a part of us all.
 
As per his wishes, there will be no services.
 
In lieu/flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson's Foundation in his name.
 
Daddy, you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
